Be a Member Welcome to the Madison County Arts Council HURRICANE HELENE STATEMENT We acknowledge and share in the loss and the pain our community experienced throughout Hurricane Helene and the historic flooding of the French Broad River. Madison County and the towns of Hot Springs and Marshall will never be the same but what the efforts of the people have shown us is that the spirit of Madison County lives not in buildings but in the best efforts of one person to help another. We believe that art and creativity are fundamental human needs and there is no time when creativity is more important than right now.
