Last night we celebrated something truly special: the 10-Year Anniversary of the Lewis Abraham Lacoochee Boys & Girls Club at Stanley Park, honoring a decade since the building in Stanley Club first opened. We were incredibly honored to receive an official proclamation from Dade City Mayor Scott Black, recognizing the positive impact this Club has had over the past 10 years. A heartfelt thank you to the dignitaries who joined us in celebration, and to everyone who played a role in building this Club back in 2014 — your commitment laid the foundation for a space that continues to inspire, protect, and empower youth every day. Thanks to a $471,329 investment from the Children's Board of Hillsborough County, we’re expanding access to summer camp for 422 additional youth across 9 Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay sites! From June 9 to August 1, our Clubs will offer safe, enriching summer experiences designed to combat summer learning loss, keep kids active and engaged, and give parents peace of mind knowing their children are in a supportive environment. This impactful partnership bridges opportunity gaps and supports working families — showing how community collaboration can build a greater Tampa Bay for all.
