South Side High School Foundation – Online home of Fort Wayne's South Side High School Foundation. South Side High School Foundation Welcome The South Side High School Foundation supports students and teachers of South Side High School a Fort Wayne Community School located in Northeast Indiana. In the Spring of 1994 the SSHS Alumni Association created the SSHS Foundation and established a goal of building a more permanent and predictable funding source for the special needs of the school and its students. In 1999 the trustees found an important instrument for future growth through an affiliation with the Fort Wayne Community Foundation. Since then the foundation has continued to grow and in 2023 was able to provide 14 students with 39150 in scholarship money.
