S.A.V.E Rescue saves dogs and cats off the streets of Houston, from shelters and takes at risk anima S.A.V.E Rescue Coalition was formed for the purpose of reducing the homeless pet problem through Spay/Neuter, Adoption, Volunteering and Education. Because of the huge problem in our area we have become a rescue of last resort for many animals facing death in shelters and on the streets. In order to stem the tide of unwanted animals we work to provide low cost/free spay neuter surgeries for under served populations and for feral/community cats through our clinic, Galveston County Empty Shelter Project. We are working toward the day when all companion animals will have a home and the overpopulation of unwanted animals will no longer be a problem.
