PROMOTION OF PUBLIC INTEREST & BENEFIT. The Omega Point Institute's charter is to utilize its limited resources to maximize the likelihood that human civilization can arrive at Omega Point as quickly as possible. To this end, OPI evaluates a wide array of potential fund recipients to whom it supplies free consulting services, cash grants, and other supportive efforts. The Omega Point Institute collects contributions and distributes them to third-party 501(c)(3) nonprofits that we trust to make positive change in the world. We also provide grants to appropriate individuals performing nonprofit services that benefit the community at large.
