First Judicial District CASA Association About Volunteer Programs Classes Support Events More ABOUT US First Judicial District CASA Association is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our agency provides three main programs for children and families in Atchison and Leavenworth Counties including the Child Advocacy Center CAC Child Exchange and Visitation Center CEVC and trained Court Appointed Special Advocate CASA Volunteers to advocate for children in our Judicial District. Additionally CASA facilitates three classes available to the community including General Responsibilities As Separating Parents GRASP Parenting in the TwentyFirst Century and a Love and Logic based Parenting Class. OUR IMPACT IN LEAVENWORTH ATCHISON COUNTIES IN 2023 39 children received advocacy with theCASAprogram 649 visits provided for families with theCEVC program 150 parents graduated GRASP Class through our GRASP classes 120 children received Forensic Interviews through the CAC 1857 documented volunteer hours with theCASAprogram 17 active volunteers with theCASAprogram WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING Honorable Judge Asher CASA provides invaluable service for both CINC cases and for visitation and exchange of children in domestic cases.
