The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission
The ERLC exists to assist churches by resourcing Southern Baptists to think biblically about cultural issues & by representing their interests in public policy. The ERLC serves at the intersection of church and state and strives, like you, to understand how the pressing cultural and moral issues in our society affect our churches, our families, and our world. The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission exists to assist the churches by helping them understand the moral demands of the gospel, apply Christian principles to moral and social problems and questions of public policy, and to promote religious liberty in cooperation with the churches and other Southern Baptist entities.
