Non-Profit Dog Rescue - 501(c)(3) Richmond Ruff House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, foster based volunteer dog rescue organization serving Richmond, VA and the surrounding counties. Richmond Ruff House is dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs from animal control and public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding and overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect by providing them with temporary shelter for the purpose of finding permanent suitable new homes.
