The Maryland Theatre - Hagerstown Md Welcome to The Maryland Theatre Upcoming Performances The Maryland Theatre Presents Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos Maryland Symphony Orchestra presents BERNSTEIN MOZART 40 13th Maryland International Film FestivalHagerstown The Maryland Theatre hosts Dirty Deeds The ACDC Experience This Historic Landmark was originally constructed in 1915 and was designed by renowned architect Thomas Lamb. In 2019 new construction of a fivelevel Performing Arts Center was completed restoring the theatre to its original 1915 footprint which was partially destroyed by fire in 1974. Fortunately the fire did leave the historic auditorium and stage virtually untouched. The Performing Arts Center expansion provides an additional 35000 square feet of event space and includes a ballroom VIP suite rehearsal studio additional dressing rooms meeting rooms cocktail lounge a grand lobby and box office.
