Hart County Golden K Inc

We are a group of approximately 45 mostly retired men, who have left the serious nature of our careers and now enjoy the fellowship with our members while we undertake projects aimed at giving back to our community (Hart County Georgia). We are best known in the community for our home access ramp building program, which is provided based solely on need and not ever billed to a recipient (we do accept donations). This program typically provides approximately 30-35 ramps each year and each ramp materials cost is about $500.00, labor is provided by our members. Our members engineer and design each ramp for the specific residence, purchase materials, provide tools, and build each ramp. We also conduct and fund Bingo at the county senior center, and provide scholarships to select graduates of our county high school. Our group members also participate in other local service efforts such as food distribution, meals for disabled, and tax preparation services as examples.
