🎓 Valedictorian & Salutatorian Spotlight: Holmes and NSITE High Schools 🎓 From cheering in packed stadiums to competing on national stages, these Class of 2025 graduates made their mark—now they’re off to do even more incredible things. At Holmes High School, Ellexes Terrazas has earned the title of Valedictorian. She will be attending the University of Texas at Austin’s College of Natural Sciences to major in Medical Laboratory Science, with plans to become a doctor. Ellexes says her favorite high school memories were the football games—standing in the student section with friends, faces painted, voices lost, cheering proudly for a team that didn’t always win but never lacked spirit. The energy, the drumline, the rare touchdowns—those nights, she says, were unforgettable. The Holmes Salutatorian is Carolina Pereira, who will attend the University of Texas at San Antonio to major in Biology. Carolina is pursuing a future career as a dentist. At NSITE High School, Axel Rivas-Cruz is the Class of 2025 Valedictorian. He’s headed to UT Austin to major in Behavioral and Social Data Science, with plans for a career in cybersecurity. One of Axel’s favorite high school memories was attending BPA State in Corpus Christi—spending time on the beach with friends made the experience even more special. NSITE’s Salutatorian is Aditya Rao, who will also attend UT Austin. He plans to study Computer Science and become a software engineer. His favorite memory? Flying to Florida to compete in the VEI Regional Business Competition—an unforgettable adventure that combined learning, travel, and teamwork. We are incredibly proud of these graduates and all they’ve accomplished. The future is bright, and we can't wait to see what’s next. 💫 (fb)
