Brain Injury Association of South Carolina Creating a better future through brain injury prevention research education and advocacy. The Brain Injury Association of South Carolina is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has been helping individuals with brain injuries and their families and caregivers since 1998. We work to educate healthcare providers coaches athletes teachers law enforcement legislators and the military about brain injury and the impact brain injury has on individuals and their families. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and ACLU of South Carolina are working to ensure that voters with disabilities, including brain injury survivors, can vote with the assistance they need. We are hosting a special meeting to hear from brain injury survivors, caregivers, and family members about your experiences with voting, especially by mail. This meeting will focus on understanding the challenges you face and discussing how we can advocate to protect your voting rights.
