Forge X Northwest (formerly DIY Studio) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to promote creativity, community, environmental awareness and self-sufficiency through reuse.Forge X Northwest promotes creativity by providing people with arts education and inspiration for creative endeavors.Forge X Northwest promotes community by empowering people to become engaged and resourceful by forming community connections through workshops, Free Art Friday, events and art shows.Forge X Northwest promotes environmental awareness through education about implementing alternative approaches to creating art and by diverting materials from the solid-waste stream.Forge X Northwest promotes self-sufficiency skills and empowers others to do-it-themselves. We encourage people to reconnect with hands-on activities to better understand the worth of materials and gain confidence in their creative abilities.
