A community of over 600 anglers in lower Fairfield County, CT dedicated to protecting the rivers we love to fish. Protecting, preserving, and restoring our local rivers and streams since 1973 The Mianus Chapter of Trout Unlimited is part of a national conservation organization dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring our coldwater fisheries. The Mianus Chapter has over 600 members living in the Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, Norwalk, New Canaan, Ridgefield and Wilton communities. As a conservation organization, the Mianus Chapter is primarily involved in active restoration work on local rivers and streams, but also promotes educational activities, hosts regular fishing outings and works with local and state agencies and regional environmental organizations to plan and implement conservation programs.

When you take part in Mianus TU activities whether you are a member or not youre helping us grow our impact on local rivers and streams in lower Fairfield County. Working together we are removing dams restoring habitat planting native trees combatting climate change helping connect kids to the outdoors and so much more. We also have a ton of fun along the way and plenty of time on the water fishing with friends.
