Back and bolder than ever — welcome home, Taylor Kohlbeck! 🌟🖤 A passionate performer, choreographer, and teacher, Taylor Kohlbeck brings depth, artistry, and heart to the MCD stage. Starting dance at just 3 years old, her journey took root in Minnesota and grew through years of training at Monique’s School of Dance and Center Stage Dance Studio. Taylor earned a BA in Dance and BS in Psychology from UW–Stevens Point, studying under renowned mentors and leading as dance captain of the UWSP Dance Team. Her work has taken her to Joffrey Intensives in NYC, UDA Nationals in Florida, ACDA in Nebraska, and beyond. Known for her powerful choreographic works like Revive and Silhouettes, Taylor uses movement to explore themes of resilience, grief, and mental health. Her unique blend of dance and psychology creates performances that move audiences on every level. Back with heart, soul, and serious flow — welcome back, Sydney Mattmiller! 🌿✨ Sydney Mattmiller is a movement explorer, dance educator, and longtime member of the MCD community. With 18 years of dance experience starting in Stevens Point, WI, she’s trained in everything from contemporary and street styles to Yoga, Pilates, and even weightlifting. Her unique perspective includes the use of synesthesia in choreography, weaving together rhythm, energy, and emotion. Sydney studied dance at UW–Milwaukee and the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, collaborating with renowned choreographers along the way. She now teaches at Lake Shore Dance, where she fosters creative curiosity and confidence in her students. With a gentle and grounded approach, Sydney’s artistry brings movement to life in everyday moments — reminding us that dance can be both powerful and healing.
