Hoover Presidential Foundation Promoting and Supporting the Lifeand Legacy of Our 31st President Now Accepting Applications for the 2025 Uncommon Student Award Program The Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award is a scholarship program for Iowa high school juniors with students eligible for as much as 11500 in awards. The program is designed to attract communityminded students. The award which honors the 31st President of the United States and Iowa native Herbert Hoover identifies 15 Iowa high school juniors annually who propose and accomplish community projects of their own creation. Nominations Are Now Open for the 2025 Uncommon Public Service Award The Uncommon Public Service Award was created by the Hoover Presidential Foundation to honor those public servants who demonstrate uncommon service to the people of Iowa above and beyond their legislative responsibilities.
