National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy

Homepage - NCRP

National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy promotes philanthropic accountability, effectiveness & responsiveness to the needs of marginalized communities. Challenging Grantmakers to Strengthen Communities NCRP promotes philanthropy that serves the public good, is responsive to people and communities with the least wealth and opportunity, and is held accountable to the highest standards of integrity and openness. NCRP has served as philanthropy’s critical friend and independent watchdog since 1976. We envision philanthropy at its best investing in those people and communities and supporting the movements that engage, serve, and represent them. NCRP urges funders to fulfill their moral and practical duty to build, share, and wield their power and resources in pursuit of justice.
