EDUCATIONAL FORUM The ADACI Educational Forum is designed to examine the implications of slavery, its aftermath, and its effects on the African family. The intent of this analysis is to provide a vehicle for creating solutions to serve as a course of action in removing the barriers to self-determination. ADACI YOUTH INSTITUTE An integral part of the Institute is the focus on youth and the development of youth empowerment zones. Since 1995, ADACI's activities have included an all-day series of workshops for teenagers, centered on youth interests and issues. The workshops treat a range of topics germane to the wholesome and total development of the mind, body, spirit and soul of our young people, including: Budgeting and Financial Management; Entrepreneurial Skills Training; Understanding the Media; Hip-Hop/Rap/Reality; Conflict Resolution; Manhood Discipline; Responsibilities of Sisterhood; Health and Nutrition; Understanding and Controlling Sexual Behavior; Developing Genius; and Spiritual Development
