Peace of Mind supports mindfulness-based social emotional learning, conflict resolution and social justice in PreK - 8th grade. Our curriculum and resources help educators boost student well-being and create more positive and inclusive schools. Peace of Mind is a Washington, DC-based organization founded in 2014 and established as a nonprofit in 2018. Our mission is to educate students about mindfulness, brain science, conflict resolution and social justice to help them develop skills to enhance their own well-being and become peacemakers. We develop and share our innovative curriculum and train and support educators who deliver our program in PreK - 8th grade. Our vision is that all students are able to develop the skills to face challenges in their own lives and the challenges facing our world with kindness, courage and compassion.
