UMATYC Utah Mathematical Association of TwoYear Colleges About Us The Utah Mathematical Association for Two Year Colleges UMATYC is a forum established to allow for open discussion of issues relating to mathematics education at two year colleges in the state of Utah. It39s purpose is to promote professional development for mathematics teachers to work with other professional associations and institutions concerned with mathematics at all levels and to provide the best possible mathematics curriculum and instruction the the affilated schools. UMATYC is an affiliate of The American Mathematical Association of TwoYear Colleges AMATYC. AMATYC was founded in 1974.
