THE NOOK REFUGE mission aims to:*Provide Refuge to animals in need on a "case by case" limited admission basis *Provide pawsitive alternatives to shelter surrenders, with a primary focus on spay&neuter initiatives, for animals within the local communities *Provide primary focus of rescuing less likely to be adopted or special needs animals, including those animals in need of emergency medical assistance Identify and assist with the training and placement of rescued animals as potential Therapy, Emotional Support and Service Animals*Provide an exceptional, professional, out of the box experience with placement of successful, quality adoptions - especially those long distance*Provide lifelong, impacting connections and education through our adoption, volunteer, advocacy, community outreach and partnership programs
