The Miss Wichita Asian Festival scholarship pageant encourages young women to celebrate their cultural heritage during the annual #ICTAsianFest. The WAA promotes the cultural awareness of various Asian groups in the community. The Wichita Asian Association (WAA) is a non-profit organization which provides education and understanding of Asian culture, fosters cooperation among area Asian groups, and assists its members to become contributing and respected members of the community.
