The homeless matter, and they are not invisible. BACK@YOU was created to help open people’s eyes to those that so many of us walk blindly by each day. The homeless are not invisible, and we should not act as if they don’t exist. We all deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness. None of us is less of a person for not having a home. With those principles as our guide, we simply fill backpacks with some essential supplies and basic comforts to share with our homeless neighbors, and our volunteers give these backpacks when the cold weather approaches. We make each of our backpacks to show its recipient that someone cares. They may be small gestures in the grand scheme of things, but they are filled with love. We hope you’ll support us in spreading a little kindness.
