SCART is all-volunteer, non-profit animal disaster response team assisting animals affected by disasters & educating the public in disaster preparedness. Southern California based all-volunteer, non-profit animal disaster response team whose goals are to To respond to animal needs and assist other agencies during a disaster or crisis. To educate the public in the care of animals during a disaster or crisis and educate them regarding animal abuse. To provide training to individual animal owners to take care of their animals at home, and to assist the neighborhood animals before, during and after a disaster. To offer assistance to cities with animal sheltering, pet response and disaster recovery as needed or requested.
