PLACE (People Linking Art, Community & Ecology) for Sustainable Living is a public serving, experiential learning center in Northwest Oakland that showcases and advocates for regenerative design, urban homesteading, community resiliency, social justice and artistic expression. We foster sustainable living practices through art, community and ecology and do this by way of educational workshops, exhibits, outreach programs, partnerships, events and public placemaking.
