Many Seniors and Veterans share their only meal of the day with their companion animals. We purchase pet food with your donations, and deliver it to their homes. Many homebound/disabled seniors and Veterans receive one meal a day from community outreach programs like Meals-on-Wheels. Most live far below the poverty line and have no other source of nutrition. Unfortunately, if they have a pet they end up sharing this ONLY meal of the day. Their companion animals mean the world to them. They provide comfort and studies show those with pets have a lower rate of depression and illness. CAUSE4PAWS PET FOOD BANK makes sure these pets don't have to share food with their owner.
