Joseph Phillip Loftus Jr. Mobile Museum - Home

We are dedicated to honoring Joseph P. Loftus Jr. Our focus is on providing STEM+M related artifacts To blend the unique personal artifacts and experiences of Joseph P. Loftus Jr.’s forty five years with the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) into an interactive educational experience for people of all ages. With a primary focus on adolescence and teens our mission is to identify potentiality in youths and work to channel their talents in to the space sciences with partnerships in higher education and manufacturers of future space technologies. To identify, recruit and prepare our next generation of youths to become aerospace engineers and astronauts for space exploration. Focused on STREAMM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts, Math and Medicine.

We are excited to announce that the JPLMuseum will be presenting at the NASA Alumni League March 7th meeting aCongressional Record and US Flag flown over the United States Capitol building introduced by Congressman Cliff Bentz to honor Norman Chaffee and James McBarron II NASA careers and their dedicationto education outreach and support of JPLMuseums commitment to STREAM2 Science Technology Robotics Engineering Math and Medicine in rural communities. The museum strives to inspirethe next generation to reach for the stars. We are excited to announce that the PacfiCorp Foundation has awarded the JPLMuseum with a generous grant of 2600. 00 for the preservation and digitization of thedocuments videos and slides.
