Salisbury Community Foundation was formed in 1944 by a group of concerned citizens with the common interest of making Salisbury & Rowan County a better place to live. Their goal was to help fulfill the many charitable needs of the community in areas ranging from heath & human services to education & religion. In the 50+ years since the Foundation was created, it has remained focused on helping donors realize their charitable goals and enhancing the community's philanthropic capacity.
