Communities In Schools of Marietta/Cobb County (CISMCC) supports students in grades K-12 in Cobb County and Marietta City school districts providing community and in-school programs that include mentoring, tutoring, academic and career development, social service referrals, youth leadership development, and early childhood development. CISMCC serves students who are at risk of dropping out of school. Risk factors are addressed as early as birth to preschool age through the Parents as Teachers home visitation program. Students are served in elementary, middle, and high schools until they successfully graduate.
