CCAGW was established in 1984 to follow up on the implementation of the Grace Commission recommendations under President Ronald Reagan. CCAGWs mission is to engage in grassroots advocacy and direct lobbying to enact legislation that would eliminate government waste fraud abuse and mismanagement. CCAGW releases annual Congressional Ratings of members of Congress and to date has helped to save taxpayers 2. 4 trillion.
