Included in the process are education training preparation and support in an attempt to mitigate the negative impact of disasterrelated incidents on vulnerable residents in the targeted area. FEMA says The need to prepare is real. This agency is designed to be a connecting link between local area state and federal programs which assist in disaster preparedness and emergency operations.
