The Center to Improve Rural Student Success (CIRSS) at Chattahoochee Valley Community College is here to support YOUR future. 📸 Photos highlight the accomplishments of dual enrollment students from Russell County High School who have successfully completed career certifications through CVCC! These students were recognized alongside CVCC President Jackie Screws and CIRSS Project Manager Charon J. Austin — a proud moment showcasing the power of rural student achievement and workforce readiness! 👏🎓🔧📚🙌📚🎓 🟢 Who We Are: CIRSS is a four-year, grant-funded initiative under the U.S. Department of Education’s Rural Postsecondary & Economic Development (RPEDS) Program. Our mission is to increase postsecondary access, enrollment, and career readiness for students in rural communities across Alabama and Georgia. 📍 Serving Region 5 We support students from Russell, Lee, Barbour, Bullock, and Macon counties, plus neighboring rural areas in Georgia.
