Camp Friendship Brooklyn Since it's origins in 1973, CF has evolved into a distinguished and vital community institution. Donations support the following programs Food Pantry Youth Programs Annual Back to School, Thanksgiving and Toy Drives And More! THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY, AFFORDABLE AFTER-SCHOOL, HOMEWORK HELP, MENTORING, SEASONAL SPORTS, AND SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 14. THE ORGANIZATION SERVES WORKING CLASS FAMILIES IN SOUTH BROOKLYN AND THROUGHOUT THE FIVE BOROUGHS TO BUILD SELF-ESTEEM, PROMOTE PHYSICAL FITNESS AND ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT FOR YOUTHS ATTENDING THE PROGRAM. THESE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO DEVELOP A CONSISTENT AND LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP WITH EACH YOUTH TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM INDIVIDUAL CHARACTER AND GAIN PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY WITH COMPETITIVE SPIRIT AND LEARN GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP THROUGH YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS.
