The Ensuring Transparency in Prior Authorization Act seeks to streamline processes and increase transparency and accountability by: ⏺️ Requiring prior authorization rules to be publicly available online and mandating 60 days’ notice for any changes.

The 2025 legislative session of the Nebraska Unicameral officially adjourns sine die today. Since January, our senators have tackled a range of issues impacting health care in our state, from taking on Big PhRMA to protect the 340B program to critical budget appropriations for the Rural Loan Repayment Program. Through countless hours of committee hearings and floor debates, this year saw important strides in reforming prior authorization and PBM practices.
