Ten years ago today, the Marine Corps lost six of its finest. Two pilots, two crew chiefs, a combat photographer and a combat videographer were all on board a UH-1Y Venom helicopter attached to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469. The Marines, along with two Nepalese soldiers, were assisting with relief efforts following an earthquake that same year at the time of the mishap. We are an allvolunteer veteranfounded nonprofit organization. We provide immediate postmishap support. We ensure our fallen heroes are never forgotten and the loved ones they leave behind are always supported. Knowing you were there and taking care of my wife while I laid in an almost hopeless state brought me comfort knowing my dearest loved one was being taken care of.
