Durham Crisis Response Center
Our mission is to work with the Durham community to end domestic and sexual violence through advocacy, support, education and prevention. Durham Crisis Response Center grew from the merger of Rape Crisis of Durham and the Orange-Durham Coalition for Battered Women in October of 2001. Our work is accomplished only through the dedication of Board, staff and hundreds of volunteers who answer over 2200 crisis line calls every year, who provide counseling and shelter to over 130 women and children each year, and who teach hundreds of young children about healthy relationships. Our ultimate goal is to ensure every victim is a survivor.
