Haiti Health Alliance (HHA) is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing sustainable primary care to the people of Saint Raphael, Haiti and surrounding communities by operating adult and pediatric mobile health clinics. Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and access to health care is limited, with only one doctor per 4,000 people. Our mobile health clinics provide on-site pharmacy services, preventive medicine, comprehensive primary care and promotes health and wellness with formal health education programs at no charge to all in need in Saint-Raphael, Haiti and surrounding communities. Our medical team is comprised of nurses, doctors and pharmacists. The core medical team is drawn from our Board of Directors and is supplemented by volunteer clinicians from the U.S. and Haiti. HHA operates its mobile clinic in three locations - in Saint-Raphael and in the rural villages of Lima and Guacimal, Haiti. Over the next five years we plan to increase the number of trips to Haiti to three a year. Our long-term goal is to build a permanent clinic building in Guacimal, Haiti and hire local, full-time Haitian nurses to staff it year round.
