Suncoast Softball League 🌞🏝🥎 is an organization empowering LGBTQA+ 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ people through social interaction and competition in Tampa Bay, Florida. The Suncoast Softball League was organized in 1994 to promote a friendly, competitive and emotionally safe environment for gay men and women in the Tampa Bay area to participate in the sport of softball. The Suncoast Softball League was organized in 1993 to promote a friendly, competitive and emotionally safe environment for LGBT people in the Tampa Bay area to participate in the sport of softball. While we realize opportunities exist outside of this league for softball play, our league exists as our special place, affording opportunities to us as a group that aren't available elsewhere. Our goal as a league is to promote sportspersonship, tolerance and acceptance of gay and lesbian men and women as well as those in our community who are friendly and supportive of our ideals.
