Gallery On The Square March 2025 Featured Guild Artist Mel Davenport In our lives our eyes perceive the world as a million different images with multiple sights within each image. In my painting I usually strive to reverse that view. I try to eliminate or simplify the background noise so that my subject pops out of the surface. Sometimes I use black and white paint to intensify that goal.
