SKIS PROMOTES SOCIAL WELFARE AND THE COMMMON GOOD WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(4) OF THE CODE FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSES OF:(1) ENCOURAGING AND PROMOTING THE GROWTH OF AMATEUR HOCKEY AND OTHER ICE ORIENTED ACTIVITIES, WHICH TEACH PHYSICAL SKILLS, FAIR PLAY, DISCIPLINE, RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY AND COMPETITIVENESS, AND(2) MAINTAINING AND OPERATING ICE ARENAS TO PROMOTE SPORTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES ON ICE FOR CHILDREN AND OTHER RESIDENTS, INCLUDING FAMILIES OF THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH SUCH ARENAS ARE LOCATED.
