It is Pageant Day at Tennessee Association of Fairs 👑 We are honored to have Whitley Atkinson representing us here this weekend as Cumberland County Fairest of the Fair 👑 (fb)

We hope everyone enjoyed the fair as much as we did this past week! We want to thank all of our sponsors that made our fair possible. If you had a chance to attend the fair this year and went to any of the arena entertainment, stopped to pet the camel at the petting zoo, or if you hitched a ride on one of the golf carts to get to your vehicle — all of those things plus so many other things you don’t see, cost money! All of the beautiful quilts, art, baked goods and any other entires you see are competing for first place! We paid out around $20,000 in first, second, and third place checks this year, not including any livestock! All of the entires are some our favorite things of the fair, but again, they cost money 😊 We also do not own the fair grounds. The fair board actually has to rent the fair grounds for $15,000 for the month of August. It takes ALOT of work and a lot of money to put on the fair. Our county fair would not be possible without the help of our sponsors! We are so thankful and appreciative of all of the 2024 Cumberland Co fair sponsors.
