Kaw Valley Arts and Humanities, Inc.

MISSION: Kaw Valley Arts & Humanities exists to enhance the community through cultural awareness and encourage county-wide artistic development on a personal and community level. KVAH ON-GOING GOALS: 1. Develop opportunities to foster an appreciation among cultures by initiating and supporting activities which explore the diverse and similar cultural values in Wyandotte County. 2. Be the leader in integrating cultural activities into the very fiber of the community by positioning and utilizing the arts and humanities to facilitate the achievement of broader community economic, social and educational goals. (Service in support of society’s goals.) 3. Create an environment that attracts, maintains and helps to develop excellence in both individual artists and cultural organizations. (Service to the arts community.) 4. Establish a strong community oriented institution recognized regionally as a leader in planning, advocacy and program development in the arts and humanities. (Developing and sharing expertise and resources.)
