Directed by ChuiMalik Alicia’s Miracle is a response to a fifteen month investigation into the California strawberry industry which was conducted by CIR reporters Bernice Yeung & Andy Donohue. Dark Side of the Strawberry exposes the excessive use of chemical fumigants in strawberry farming and the high levels of exposure to the communities of Oxnard and Salinas. In this performance the audience will be taken through a myriad of emotions, in which will leave you (the audience) emotionally split into feelings of sorrow and, pity, disbelief, and disgust, a almost hopeless and unknown rage placement-until finally seeing several “right stances” held by these phenomenal actors and actresses performances.
