Start your business through Cape Coral’s MicroEnterprise Institute Individuals thinking about starting their own business but need some mentoring are invited to apply to the Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute. The next class is from June 2 to 10, Mondays and Thursdays from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the West Cape Coral Goodwill Community Resource Center at 1499 SW Pine Island Road. The MicroEnterprise Institute is a six-week training program for emerging entrepreneurs who want to start new ventures and grow small businesses. Graduates complete a comprehensive training course and prepare a solid plan to guide their start-up. They work with successful businesspeople as mentors and hear from subject matter experts in accounting, legal, marketing, insurance and funding. An easy-to-use workbook, used by organizations across America, assists in transforming vision into a plan for a successful business. A recent program graduate says, “This course helped me organize and plan the steps for creating my business.
