Founded in 1989, CPDC is a nationally recognized leader in affordable housing for low- and moderate-income individuals and families with award-winning real estate projects known for their innovative and high-quality design, sophisticated financing, and transformative resident services. Our mission is to develop vibrant communities through innovation and partnerships. Presently, CPDC owns and operates more than 5,000 units and serves more than 10,000 residents in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. CPDC believes that safe and affordable housing should be available to all people, and we are committed to employing a data-driven community-building model where we provide comprehensive resident services focused on economic development, education, environment, health and wellness, and robust resident engagement.
