NWA DOMESTIC VIOLENCE EMERGENCY SERVICES IS A NONPROFIT 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION THAT SUPPORTS VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. OUR MISSION IS TO FOCUS ON EMPOWERING VICTIMS AND PERPETRATORS THAT ARE READY TO IN THE CYCLE OF ABUSE IN THEIR LIVES, WHILE BUILDING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND ADVOCATING FOR SOCIAL CHANGE TO STOP THE VIOLENCE. THE PURPLE RIBBON THRIFT STORE AND DONATION CENTER PROVIDES VICTIMS WITH CLOTHING HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND ESSENTIALS. THE PURPLE RIBBON FOOD PANTRY IS A WAY TO PROVIDE FOOD TO OUR VICTIMS IN NEED. WE ALSO OPEN IT TO THE PUBLIC EVERY MONDAY TO SUPPORT FEEDING THE HUNGRY IN OUR COMMUNITY. ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS INCLUDE SAFETY PLANNING, RISK ASSESSMENT, CRISIS INTERVENTION, EMERGENCY CARE KITS, MENTORSHIP AND JOB ASSISTANCE. A VARIETY OF ADDITIONAL ONGOING SUPPORT AND SELF-CARE ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED.
