Building a vibrant, unified community, transformed through the love and hope of Jesus Christ. Urban Vision

The organization was established to address the needs of children and families in the area, providing outreach and support programs that aim to improve the quality of life for residents.

Mission

Urban Vision's mission is to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ by coming alongside children and their families, helping them to become followers of Christ and leaders within their community. The organization focuses on fostering a vibrant, unified community through various educational and spiritual programs.

Programs and Services

  • Kids’ Club: An outreach program that engages children in the community with biblical teachings and recreational activities.

Despite challenges faced by the community, including economic decline, North Hill has experienced significant growth, attributable to the efforts of Urban Vision and its commitment to uplifting residents through faith and service.

Community Engagement

The organization emphasizes the importance of community involvement, encouraging local residents to participate in its programs and volunteer opportunities. Urban Vision’s staff members live in the neighborhood, reflecting their dedication to the mission and their deep understanding of the community’s needs.

Conclusion

Urban Vision continues to play a critical role in the transformation of the North Hill neighborhood by fostering community leadership, enhancing educational opportunities, and promoting spiritual growth among its residents. Through its various programs, Urban Vision strives to create a supportive environment that empowers individuals and families to thrive.
