The mission of the HorsePower Equine Assisted Learning (HEAL) Foundation is to empower individuals and groups with a safe, professional, and therapeutic equine experience. HEAL supports the limitless emotional growth and healing potential created by the bond between horse and human. HEAL was built to provide equine assisted psychotherapy services (EAP) directly to our veterans, first responders and their families.

The HEAL Foundation HEAL provides sliding scale subsidized equine facilitated therapy services for Adults Adolescents and Families with a focus on the Military Veteran and First Responder communities. A 501c3 Designated Public Charity. Equine therapy is a costly enterprise and we believe that no one should be limited by financial circumstances from accessing services. As a nonprofit we are able to provide sliding scale fees for services the cost of which exceed the average insurance reimbursement rate.

9/11 is a date forever etched in the American psyche. Today we remember and honor the 2,563 civilians and 441 First Responders who lost their lives 24 years ago and those whose lives were forever changed. We recognize and honor the more than 48,579 First Responders and clean-up workers who suffer from or have died from 9/11 related cancers and continue to struggle with PTSD and suicidal ideation.

And extra thanks to everyone on the HEAL team and the workers at the farm who care for the horses and help make our sessions happen- we couldn't do it without you.
