These shots, from photographer Alan Cradick, truly capture the powerful energy of our #CoastalCommunity during our recent #WetlandPlanting at #CarolinaBeachStatePark! With the help of our amazing volunteers and local partners, we planted thousand of native wetland species to restore 10-acres of habitat previously overtaken by invasive phragmites. These efforts are helping to support wildlife, filter stormwater runoff, and protect our coast from flooding. 🌾💪 A special thank you to the staff at Carolina Beach State Park and the North Carolina State Parks and Recreation for your leadership, collaboration, and on-the-ground support.
