More information and tickets at rabbitholekc.org The Rabbit hOle is building a major new cultural institution in Kansas City: a visionary center for the children’s book, national in scope, that will preserve, advance, and transmit the art and history of children’s literature to children, parents, and educators for generations to come. It will be the first of its kind in the United States and will position Kansas City as the new epicenter of the children’s book world. Our mission is to create a living culture around literature that will nourish, empower, and inspire the reading lives of children.

The Rabbit Hole

Mary began volunteering at The Rabbit hOle shortly after we opened. 🌼 This morning she was helping with Story Hour in our Tons of Fun Room. She says this space always reminds her of a dear librarian in Weston that introduced her and her children to James Marshall's George and Martha books. After retiring from nursing Mary wanted a unique volunteer opportunity and loves learning about the authors and illustrators who created so many beloved titles.
